- Alessandro Brustenghi
Congratulations to Alessandro Brustenghi, a Franciscan tenor, who has become the first ever friar to sign a major recording contract, after music executives heard him sing in his native Italy. He has taken a vow of poverty, and will be donating the earnings from his upcoming CD to the Order of Friars Minor for charity work. The CD is expected in October this year, and recording at the famous Abbey Road Studios.
