Call To Holiness is a blog started by John Clem:
Greetings! I live in Charlottesville, Virginia. I am new media consultant by day, and have a number of interests that keep me very busy: Love of my Catholic Faith, family, history, photography, computers, music, disc golf, my dog Mojo, and my blog. I attend an active parish–Church of the Incarnation. I also find inspiration from the two priests in my family: Monsignor Charles Pope who blogs for The Archdiocese of Washington, and Father George Pope who has been a missionary in Bangladesh with the Holy Cross for over 50 years.
I have been involved with web design for non-profit organizations for 12 years. Recently starting a new ministry to help Catholic webmasters and media producers called Catholic Web Services.
I bought my first iPod in April 2008 discovering SQPN’s podcasts and blogs, and became a big fan of Father Roderick’s work as well as Father Finelli’s iPadre podcast, and Dr. Paul Camarata’s SaintCast. I am also an Ambassador for Word On Fire Ministry with Father Robert Barron and am a big fan of his You Tube postings and The Catholicism Project video series. I am presently in formation to join our local Secular Franciscan Order.
This blog (started May 2011) has been inspired by SQPN and the Universal Call to Holiness from Vatican II and emphasized by Blessed John Paul II for the new millenium. I hope to write about people, places, and things that help us to be closer to God and holiness. Thank you for visiting, and all comments are welcome.
Quote from Blessed John Paul II:
“True holiness does not mean a flight from the world; rather, it lies in the effort to incarnate the Gospel in everyday life, in the family, at school and at work, and in social and political involvement.”

The universal call to holiness is asked of all Christians, and I hope this blog helps inspire all to be closer to God!
May God bless you!
